Earlier this Summer you might have read about our beginnings in The Northern Magazine, a publication that comes out with the seasonal shifts each quarter. With the most in-depth interview I’ve given to date there was plenty to learn, discover about yourself and also discover about how sports and astrology merge in our minds. On April 1st, 2026 the lovely human behind Radio Room Astrology reached out to our publishing house, Ninth House Publishing, about how grateful she was to have the livestreams and shared interests in sports astrology and it sparked a part of my soul that was dormant yet eager to activate. I felt called to respond and also spring into action, grabbing a domain and usernames on all social media platforms possible of “Sports Astrology Network” and voila! I also had been interacting with an incredibly brilliant human on Twitter (never calling it X, grow up Elon) that was all about WNBA astrology with hilarious approaches to her coverage. Deciding at that moment to do what I do best in all areas of life, I forced these two strangers to build a business with me without any of us every meeting in person or talking before face to face. Naturally, they were both incredible to yap with and we were all sold on the concept of this network and bringing more people together to study the stars in the arena as well as the skies.
How did I end up in sports astrology? I found my understanding of astrology to be the second language I’ve always wanted to be fluent in and got to studying football and the cosmos for fun a few years ago. I ended up offering my sports astrology insights for UFC fights, horse races and consulting for former pro athletes. I had gathered enough of a sports astrology following (my synastry work appearing on Pat McAfee seemed to help) to start a live YouTube show for NFL Kickoff. I was excited to be doing something that was my voice, my speed and my ideas all taking place. While my weekly coverage of the Kansas City Chiefs took off, I quickly found myself doing appearances on betting shows that loved my astrology based prop bets (which are usually my most accurate picks) and of course people wanted to know how I went from ESPN Kansas City airwaves in 2017 to being known as “Gracey The Witch” in 2025 by the sports and astrology world. Sharing my story and doing something I truly feel called to do has been part of the reason I started this network, along with the inspiration from my soon-to-be peers.
Bringing these two worlds together is something I’ve been working on for years and to see it come to life with fresh faces and voices to the community lights up my heart. I look forward to bringing trailblazing content for years to come and who knows where this endeavor will land us all, my hopes is for the ancient artform of astrology to become more accepted by the superstars that could use it the most— athletes.
I believe we are all a little witchy in our lives, especially sports fans and athletes alike with their lucky pair of socks or direction they have to face during a certain part of the game, so why not have some fun with the heavens above us reflecting the Earth we reside on each day? While some will demonize the ancient artform of astrology, that is for them to work out. Here at Sports Astrology Network we believe the stars and skies are for everyone, can be utilized by everyone and we like to make resources accessible and inclusive at all times.
