I’ll be the Moon.

Our nighttime luminary is an incredibly crucial player in Sports Astrology so let’s see how she’s feeling tonight…

Tonight’s Game 2 of the NBA Finals chart:

As WNBA Astro previously noted, Coach Mike has Mercury in Aquarius, which I think works in the Knicks’ favor as the Moon is also hanging out in Aquarius.

Both planets have connections to communication, the Sun is in a Mercury ruled sign, and the two luminaries are making a positive aspect to each other. Lots of cerebral energy swirling about. However, overemphasis on the mind may show up as not meeting the needs of the body. The Moon will be in her waning gibbous phase and might express lower energy levels, release of emotions, or focusing on looking back. She’s in a Saturn ruled sign so there may be a feeling of alienation, detachment, or lack of support - possibly expressed by a coach, captain, or prominent player.

I’m looking at you, Spurs, when it comes to the emotional speech defending your cause!

This whole night seems very Duck Soup to me. Very “who are you going to believe, me or your own eyes?” (Funnily enough Groucho had a Gemini Moon and Chico had Moon in Pisces). The Knicks might prove to be sneakily adaptable, agile but dishonest, and it could earn them the win. Refresh, review, and reset. Monday’s game has the Moon in Pisces Trine its Jupiterian ruler exact by degree. Monday = Moon Day and we’ll be hours away from the nice conjunction of benefics on 6/9. Spurs take Game 3.

Wembanyama’s sunrise Birth Chart

Mercury is currently applying to Wembanyama’s Saturn in his Moon ruled Cancer house. Plus tonight’s Moon is conjunct his Venus in Aquarius. If he can’t pull down the win for the Spurs then the Knicks will take their pizza pie win back to New York.

Moon or quit, man.

My name is WNBA Astro and I really do try to stay out of men’s business but IT’S THE FINALS!

Champs only 😉I have the pleasure of writing about the other luminary, the Sun. It is currently in Gemini the dual sign, and it just so happens that there is one Gemini Sun on each team: Jordan Clarkson on the Knicks and Harrison Barnes on the Spurs. The Sun is opposite the Sagittarius rising of the chart which can lead to self-doubt and insecurities. It’s also squaring the midheaven which can lead to more uncertainty about career paths. If you want to win you have to work hard and overcome a lot. There’s no victory without the struggle. The Sun is at 15°, a Gemini degree related to communication.

There will be a lot of talk about this game. Can the Spurs motivate each with their words to their first win?

Or will it be the Knicks standing on what they said in game 1 to get their second win?

Who will work through the obstacles to get to the title of NBA champion?

Find out next time on Dragon Ball-- I mean ABC!
